This cashmere and wool blend tonal green mock turtleneck tunic features marled yarn interspersed with Donegal flecks of warm orange and electric blue.
The craft of dry stone walling, a traditional island activity passed through the generations, is the inspiration for our Claíochaí, or stonewall, range. Each wall is built by hand using stones of random shapes and sizes. Our intricate design uses a variety of stitches to emulate the patterns created, such as plated moss stitch, plated moss rib stitch, plated caterpillar stitch, plated brick stitch, and embossed leaf stitch. The Claíochaí Mock Turtle Neck is a reworking of a popular style from our almost 50 year old design archive in a new lighter weight for more wearability. With an abundance of stitch and colour interest, the variety of stitches combine to create loft and breathability. Crafted with super-premium Cashmere and Merino yarn from Italian heritage producer, Filati Biagioli Modesto, made to the highest European environmental standards using only organic dyes.
